Abstract

Abstract :\ The study aims to identify the impact of contemporary media technology in enhancing societal environmental awareness, given that individuals within societies are in constant interaction with the environment, and the absence of environmental awareness poses risks to both humans and the surrounding environment. The study questions: what is the relationship of contemporary media technology in enhancing environmental awareness among members of society? And what is the extent of variation in societal environmental awareness in light of contemporary media technology? The study concluded that contemporary media used by members of society contribute to the development and enhancement of environmental awareness, and also has varying effects on individuals' attitudes and behavior towards the environment, leading to variations in societal environmental awareness.
